Who Is Rainie Howard?
To some she's a motivational speaker and bestselling author, to Rainie she's just a woman fulfilling her life's calling by serving God and people. Born and raised in St. Louis, MO by a strong single parent mother, Rainie was a shy and quiet little girl. Unfortunately her father battled an addiction and was in prison during her childhood, but Rainie was blessed with a God-fearing, hard working, confident mother. Rainie watched her mom progress from living in low-income subsidized housing to owning a successful health care business that employs hundreds of people.
In 2008 Rainie began the journey of following her heart and passion and founded Sisters of Hope, Inc a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of young women and girls. Rainie began living her dream and allowing her visions, passions and possibilities to become her reality. Her faith and trust in God has been the foundation of her life's work.
Rainie wants to be known as, a woman of faith, a wife, a mother, a friend and servant-leader always determined and motivated to fulfill her life’s purpose and empower others to do the same.
What is RealLoveExist?
RealLoveExist was founded by Patrick and Rainie Howard to promote "Real Love" and "Successful Marriages".
"After celebrating our 12th year of marriage, we shared our story on Facebook and received overwhelming rave reviews from people who shared that stories like ours aren't seen as much in pop culture. We also had several couples share their love stories in the comment area of our post. We want the world to know RealLoveExist!"
Here's Our Story
From High School Prom to 12+ Years of Marriage
When I say all things are possible with God in your life I mean it. My husband & I both come from single parent homes. After being best friends, we started dating my senior year of high school. During the last years of college, when my husband was 20 years old & I was 21 we got married. Although we knew it would be challenging we worked together to build a strong marriage, finish school and start our careers and have kids.
We’ve been through so many tests and trials. We have laughed, cried, argued, and had lots of fun together! After two master degrees, three businesses and amazing careers our teamwork has paid off. We started off with a one-bedroom apartment to now living in a five bedroom two-story home. God has blessed us with two amazingly smart children we love dearly.
We’ve experienced so much in the 15 years we’ve known each other. In the beginning so many people didn’t believe we would make it. They said we were too young and dumb. We were broke and naïve…BUT God! God has been in the center of it all. Whenever we encounter difficult moments we pray for direction and provision, we never go to bed angry and our love has grown stronger & stronger. I write all of this to encourage you not to give up on love. The union of “Marriage” is under an attack and so many people have lost their faith in being happily married. So many people don’t believe love exist especially in young people. We are here to display true unconditional LOVE! Don’t give up on experiencing real love; it’s so POWERFUL! I never knew love like this was real.
P.S. We did this with no infidelity, no affairs and no other relationships. All men don’t cheat, there are faithful men and women still living, breathing and loving in this world. There is HOPE
RealLoveExist is a movement that shares love stories to inspire others to live a life of love.
The mission of RealLoveExist movement is to shine light and reflect 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7, "Love is patient, love is kind, love is not jealous, it does not boast, it does not become conceited, it does not behave dishonorably, it is not selfish, it does not become angry, it does not keep a record of wrongs, it does not rejoice at unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
God didn't design marriage just so that we could be happy and have our needs met. He designed marriage to be a testimony for Him. Godly marriages bear witness of what it means to know God.
